In this case study, we tackled the complete digitization of a furniture collection based on the manufacturer’s blueprints and photographs. Our task was to develop high-fidelity 3D models for 13 distinct pieces, with each item configured in seven different finishes. This project showcases our ability to manage high-volume, turnkey content production—from geometric modeling to the creation of complex material libraries—while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the entire product line.
We placed a heavy emphasis on material authenticity. Textures were meticulously crafted from physical veneer samples used in production, ensuring a 100% match between the digital render and the physical product. To build consumer confidence during the online shopping experience, we produced a series of detailed close-ups. These shots highlight the depth of the grain and the subtle nuances of the finish, which are critical factors for conversion in e-commerce.
From a technical standpoint, the models were executed with extreme attention to detail. We modeled not only the exteriors but also the internal components, including shelving, hardware, and door hinges. Renders featuring open doors allow customers to "look inside" and evaluate the furniture's functionality. This level of craftsmanship transforms a standard 3D model into a versatile digital asset that the client can utilize for catalogs, product configurators, and marketing materials, effectively replacing the need for traditional physical photoshoots.
